On Saturday 1st September, AFW and FlexiGroup sponsored and entered our Alloy Fabweld group go-kart into the annual Great Easton soapbox races. A fantastic family day out, our in-house experienced driver James took to the tracks and came a respectable 5th place (just 10 seconds slower than the overall winner). Well done to James and his team of helpers who took community spirit and energy to the races; enjoying and engaging in the local community.
Last Friday, a record breaking £155,000 was raised at the 24th Annual Charity Golf Day hosted by Weston Homes, in aid of St Clare Hospice. Taking place at Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa in Colchester, a total of 60 teams took part in an all day event and an evening of entertainment from celebrity, Shaun Williamson.
