Resilience Team keep things moving at Poplar DLR

During the current Covid-19 crisis, Alloy Fabweld, have continued to work responsibly under social distancing guidelines, to help and support our valued clients projects with the necessary controls in place.

Alloy Fabweld have created a business resilience team to provide ongoing Technical, Design and Estimating support, during the Covid-19 lock down.

We are helping to keep things moving ready for when travelling restrictions are relaxed, working with Canary Wharf Contractors at Poplar DLR station.

Alloy Fabweld are working hard to complete works to the new stairs and lift towers, a key milestone saw the completion of the bespoke new stainless steel cable management system to the underside of the new stairs and adjoining bridge.

Works will increase the capacity of the North & South stairs and provide new passenger lifts connecting Poplar DLR Station to Canary Wharf.

To add reassurance, we are following social distancing recommendations and created work from home platforms, to ensure we put the safety of our teams at the forefront, putting the necessary distancing controls in place.
