Commercial Spiral Staircase for Office Space in Cumbria

This spiral staircase was designed, crafted and expertly installed into this office environment in Cumbria, providing the office space with a featured staircase 2.1m in diameter.

The staircase design was enhanced with Oak hardwood treads and landing, fully supported on a steel framework that was complemented with polished stainless steel tubular handrails and a flat plate decorative external stringer.

To complement the customer’s colour theme in their office environment the staircase was finished with a polyester powder coating in black.

Our commercial staircase range is ideal for any car showroom, shop, office, restaurant or other public space. Our staircase experts can provide staircases rising clockwise or anti-clockwise and are suitable for multi-storey applications.

The commercial range comprises four different diameters which are suitable for all commercial and public applications with tread widths up to 1.2m suitable for larger application. All materials used in the creation of staircases meet full structural standards with appropriate grades of steel and timber to match the diameter and height of each stair installation.

Staircases are exhaustively tested by independent Consulting Structural Engineers in accordance with British Standard guidelines and fully comply with the structural requirement of BS 5950.

We are able to supply all products to any location in the world in kit format with all required components and fitting instructions, or site installation is available if required. Each staircase can be fully customised to suit individual requirements with a wide range of handrail, balustrade and tread options to suit all uses and complement any interior design scheme.

At every stage of the process our technical and design teams work closely with you, or your architect, to ensure that the finished staircase exceeds your expectations. We have also created unique commissions for centrepiece stairwells using a range of materials such as glass, stainless steel and wood. A popular design is a spiral and straight combination stair, which often overcomes complicated geometry issues and makes a back of house staircase become an architectural feature.
