Get Diggin' It & AFW Group

Local start-up business Get Diggin' It (based in our town Great Dunmow) is a community vegetable growing project taking place in other people's gardens. They invite young and older activists who want to be the change they wish to see, get involved. Their goal is to empower people to reclaim their health, wellbeing and fitness, to provide food security, reduce food bills, or even start a new career, whilst learning to tread lightly on the land.

Get Diggin' It have previously received a start-up donation from Alloy Fabweld and more recently approached us to help with a business to business project where a number of troughs are provided with growing vegetables to our local business sites and regularly maintained by Get Diggin' It. Our staff will be able to help themselves to fresh vegetables once ready to pick, as well as making our premises more attractive to the eye - pictures coming soon!

We are always looking for ways in which to help local, worthy causes and small businesses to reach their goals and work together in raising money or helping causes to continue.
