Sponsoring the Lord Mayor's Appeal

The Blacksmith Livery groups are holding many events this year to raise money for much needed causes. One of these events is Dragon Boat racing across Fairlop Waters in Barkingside, Essex. A 17 strong team, mostly ladies of 'a certain age' (!) will make a stately progress across the lake.

Our MD is a member of the Blacksmith Livery in London and as a business we are very happy to show our support by sponsoring such a fantastic challenge and raising money for three charities amongst the 17 rowing members. The charities are: The Samaritans, OnSide Youth Zones and Place2Be who will be delivering ground breaking programmes, helping to change people's lives and creating a better city for all.

Update:- So pleased to hear that Marion and her team came 3rd overall, won the prize for the 'Most Stylish' boat and raised £2,400 from their team alone! Overall the day raised around £6,000 which is fantastic, well done all!
