Alloy Fabweld was proud to support the latest Canary Wharf Contractors Fund Golf Day, with Shaun Pledger and Paul Cashman taking part on behalf of the business.

The event brought together people from across the construction industry for a day of golf, fundraising and community spirit, all in support of a brilliant group of charity partners. This year’s event was another huge success, with Canary Wharf Contractors Fund raising an outstanding £285,000 — exceeding the previous year’s total.

A huge congratulations goes to Canary Wharf Contractors, the CWCF Committee, the event organisers, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who helped make the day possible. Events like this take a huge amount of planning and effort, and the final total is a fantastic reflection of the generosity and commitment shown by everyone involved.

The day also celebrated the winning teams, individual performances and the continued growth of the event, including the introduction of the first Sip, Swing and Socialise event, which looks set to become a permanent part of the day going forward.

For Alloy Fabweld, it was a privilege to be involved once again. The Canary Wharf Contractors Fund Golf Day has become a standout event in the construction calendar, not just because of the golf, but because of the positive impact it has on charities and communities.

Well done again to everyone at Canary Wharf Contractors Fund for raising such an incredible amount and for continuing to bring the industry together for causes that truly matter.

From everyone at Alloy Fabweld, thank you for another fantastic day — we’re proud to support it.
