The existing decking was carefully removed from the balconies before the new aluminium decking system was installed. Stadium Place, Walthamstow is a residential development where balcony safety, compliance and long-term durability were central to the remediation works. Alloy Fabweld was appointed to deliver a balcony decking replacement package, removing existing non-compliant decking and replacing it with a compliant A2 fire-rated aluminium decking system.
The project was delivered over a five-month programme with a contract value of £590k. Alloy Fabweld provided a complete remediation service, managing the works from inspection through to completion.
