The Great Dunmow Soapbox Race 2018
We will be building karts and taking part in The Great Dunmow Soapbox Race on Sunday 27th May this year. A total of 60 teams, including schools, colleges, local businesses and individuals will battle it out to be named champion of Great Dunmow Soapbox Race. There will be jumps, near misses and possibly crashes all in the name of a great charity, Great Dunmow Round Table. Steel Warriors and Alloy Fabweld
Back in 2017, we were approached by the founders of Steel Warriors, Ben Wintour and Pia Fontes to volunteer our time and materials to help build the first Calisthenics gym in London that strives to bring down knife crime by melting down confiscated knives and using them in a positive manner to build the gym. Donating to our local foodbank for the New Year, 2018
Uttlesford Foodbank and Dunmow Rotary Club ran a special reverse advent calendar where families/companies collect in any unwanted non-perishable food/drink items. We were approached by Dunmow Rotary Club President, Mike Lodder to help this worthy local cause. We managed to fill a box with donations given by our generous employees from our 2 sites in Great Dunmow. Lovely man Chris came to pick up our boxes today and to deliver to the much needed families in Uttlesford this
